Sodade
Portuguese - translation 'longing for something/someone'
Final Show: MAFA 2022-23 - Chelsea School of Arts

Sarah and I saw Cesaria Evora's last concert in Paris in 2012, our first year together. Her song 'Sodade' about longing for times past, resonates as she enters her course of cancer treatment, and we don't know what the future holds. The installation, celebrates music and dance, light and energy, helping us embrace our 'sodade', our yearning to relive happy memories.
